Grrrr....I hate technology sometimes

I was just watching a movie (Breach with Ryan Phillipe) and the stupid DVD player got stuck!!! I'm an hour into it

Now the DVD player won't turn off, open, or do anything and its making funny noises...any ideas on how to fix it?
