we booked w/someone..my mom and the florist get along great, she has a great album, etc...
we went to see my sample cp and i dont like it at all...i hate it... i'll post a pic tonight
its so simple and plain and blah....for the price we should get a flippin tree on each table...
she knew i wasnt too happy and we're going back to see sample # 2
on top of that i really really really want crystals on my cps and she doesnt provide them..i have to find them...*** she's the vendor she should find it,...no?
grrrrrrr..hate her
but then another part of me thinks...ehh who cares? flowers are flowers...as long as my bo-kis amazing then its all good...
am i bieng psycho?
**Update I called the florist and told her that i dont like the sample, that i was unhappy w/the work and that i need to see another one. she said it was ok, and to call her on friday so we can come in again to see another sample.
i just really want her to get this right... and what annoys me the most is telling someone their work sux.... but whatever i have to...
this was really bothering me all day.... my cp sample ****** : (

no you work hard for your money.. why should u be given anythign less than what u want?!!?
youre not being a psycho.. just be clear to the florist as to what u want.. look for pics of flowers that u want in your cp..and from tehre she can create something that u would like.

UM for me flowers are really important so i think it def depends on your preferences. However I def dont think you should settle, especially if you are paying a lot. You dont want to look back and regret it or you dont want to see it on your wedding day and say ugh i hate it, no matter how much the actual flowers matter to you or not, its still part of your big day. JMO

I don't think your being psycho. For the amount of $ flowers are you should be 100% satisfied.
Maybe use candles instead of flowers for cp's?

Sorry to crash - I used Blooms of Wayne in Wayne, NJ they did an amazing job and are reasonably priced. Your florist should provide you with crystals

flowers are impt! Your florist should keep making you samples until you are happy! It will be the first thing your guests notice when they walk into the ballroom! You need to be happy!

Ok. I don't understand why she would make you a sample of something you are not looking for!! I have to be honest this would be like a wedding nightmare for me. I hate telling people when I just plain don't like something but I think in this case you need to.

no you need to go back until she gets your vision....my first sample cp i liked but i wasn't in love and he had no problem doing it again...the day of my wedding i was so happy i was really pushy about the flowers b/c it completely made my room. you should just bother her until she gets it right, you are paying hard earned money for these flowers so you should be on her until she has it right.

youre def not being psycho, flowers are freakin expensive you should get your moneys worth!! try to find example of ones you like, maybe not the whole thing, like certain aspects like stands used, candles, colors etc.
