Why must my mother be so irritating in the morning?!? She woke me up a half an hour early to ask me a stupid question. I was able to doze back off for a few extra minutes but then she starts drying her hair (my bedroom is right next to the bathroom). Ugh! I really need to move out already!!!!!

Ohhhh I soooooo understand where you;re coming from... I dont have a bedroom... my bedroom is the living room which means anytime someone comes through the kitchen or bathroom... lights go on, people make noise... i sleep till about 6:30, but not a day goes by that i'm not woken up at 5:15 when my mom gets up and then i have such a hard time going back to bed oh yea and someone next door to me has their car alarm go off like clockwork almost every morn and that wakes me up... i cant win

Re: grrrrrrrr...
When I lived at home my mom would sometimes open my bedroom door and then proceed to unload the disher...loudly.
When we used to sleep at the FH's parents house it was worse. Not only did we have to sleep in separate rooms, but his parents got up at like 4:30 am and proceeded to make noise and listen to the surround sound TV like it was mid day. Thank god we got a place together. Although it's still technically at my parents (an apt over their detached 3 car garage), but we have our own space (living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen) and the rents cheap.

It's like being mommy instead of having a mommy at your house.

I know wat u mean. I couldnt wait to leave my parents house. But then you look back and you miss those little things that they do to drive you crazy. I got soo homesick after I moved in with FH. He was already living by himself when I met him, so he didnt understand...so corny..lol

with me we are both fresh out of our parents houses so we are both like washing dishes (our apartment dosen't have a dishwasher ) and cooking and cleaning and picking up . At the begining we used regular plates and cups Now is only disposobles heehhee to the point that some of our friends gave us a bunch of disposables as a house warming present :P

Believe it or not I actually enjoy cleaning and making the house nice. I really dont mind. I dont cook for anything in the world...so that is our compromise. You cook, I clean.

I actually enjoy the cooking. FH and I have an agreement that who ever cooks then the other person has to do the dishes (basically rinse and load the dishwasher). I always cook so he cleans. I've been sick the last few days and my mom came up last night and saw FH doing the dishes and was like 'Oh did you con you into cleaning?' everyone is surprised when I say that he helps out.

we're working on it...we are house hunting now. FH apt is too small for me to move into and it doesn't make sense to get a new apt b/c we don't want to get stuck in a lease ( he currently has a month to month lease) So in the meantime I am stuck at home. FH was so cute yesterday though...he turned to me and said 'Babe, I really hope we get to decorate our own home for Christmas this year.' I thought it was so cute b/c I was thinking the same thing earlier that day.
