NYC and LI are both fine for me..im in Queens...so its half way to either!...

I can take the Babylon branch also...BUT I honestly like driving in to the city sooo much more. The train takes forever!

Same for me, and I live in Brooklyn (about 45 minutes by train to Union Sq.). If you time it right, and get there after the 'work' people leave, and before the 'party' people arrive, you can usually find a spot, too. But that requires getting my butt out of the house on schedule, which is another issue...
