Ok, I've been engaged almost a year but just started using LIWeddings about a month or so ago, so I don't really know anyone on these boards. I'd like to go to the GTG but I wonder if I won't know what to do with myself because you ladies all seem to be friends (which is fantastic)!!!
What goes on at the GTG? What do you girls do? I know this one is a cruise from Freeport, but I've never been on any of the cruises, so I don't know what to expect.

I didn't know anyone at the last GTG but I had a blast. Kelly6273-I kinda know you from the Diocesan PreCana-I think we sat with you and FH at lunch.

I haven't told FH about it yet and I haven't looked at the calendar, but I definitely want to go and you girls make it easier by telling us it's no big deal - thank you!! So if I can, I'll be there!

The last GTG was my first GTG and I was a bit shy at first too. But there are so many of us, and everyone is so nice and friendly. Before you know it you're mingling around making new friends! Everyone really makes you feel comfortable!

Like Rob-luvs-me said, we all met through these GTGs. We all get to talk about everything and you get to put a face with the 'screenname'. As soon as you start talking to someone they will be more than welcome to introduce you to other girls.

I almost didn't go to the first one because I felt like that. But it is so much fun, the girls on here are great! Before you realize it, you will feel like you 'know' everyone!

I went to the 04 GTG and everyone was so nice. I am pretty shy when it comes to these things but you feel like you all know one another. It is good to put a face with the name.

Dont worry about it. Once you sit and meet everyone you feel like you've known them for years.
We all just mingle around and we have name tags on so you see who eveyone is and you're like 'Oh my god So and So I'm this person' and you start laughing and joking.
People remember posts and they ask how things are going, how far you are in planning and everyone has a great time.
Believe me it will be nothing. It may seem a little overwhelming when you first walk in, but everyone is so nice and we all just have a great time. Then of course run to the computer when we get home and start posting like crazy
