GTG Update

It looks like we are trying to shot for Feb. 21st to have our 04 GTG. Please let me know if you are interested in attending so that I can keep track on hoiw many girls want to attend. What does everyone want to have? dinner or just coffee and dessert? Which ever one you are interested in having please give me an suggestion of a place to have it.

It is on Franklin Ave just north of Stewart Ave Right near the CVS.

Wishcandy- do you mean you WON'T come if it IS on Long Island OR you will come ONLY if it IS on Long Island?

We can do it any friday or saturday except valentines day weekend I will be in Michigan

If anyone needs to take the train I live across the street from the Mineola train station and there are TONS of trains that go thru there. So I could pick anyone up. OR you can come into Garden City Train station which is about 1/2 mile away BUT there are fewer trains that go into and leave that station.

I have a little funny story, ok so I was in my journalism class at Adelphi and we had a pop quiz. the bonus question was 'what is garden city' so i wrote 'town'

and it was wrong... the correct answer is village.

so i argued with my professor, that I am from Queens born and raised, we dont have towns and villages. How do you expect someone from Queens to know an answer like that.

she gave me 1 point just because i made such an issue of how i got that wrong.

So if ever asked what is Garden City, its the Village of Garden City, in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County.
