Guess What?!?!?!?

I just talked to Peter today........He leaves Iraq on May 11.....which means he'll be on US soil in 2 weeks!!!!!!!! I don't get to see him then...as he still has outprocessing.....but I'm soo excited I don't know what to do with myself....I had to share that...MY HERO IS COMING HOME SOON!!!!

That's such exciting news Nina...I can't imagine how that feels so I won't pretend, but I'm happy that you're happy! I'll be counting down with you!!!! He's almost home! When will you get to see him?

Not sure yet....It'll take him about 3-4 days to get from Iraq to North Carolina..then about 10 days of outprocessing. Then he's done. We haven't decided yet if we are going to meet in NY so he can get his car(its parked out in Mattituck) or if he'll come to New Mexico first and then we go out there.......

But the fact that his feet will be in the US of A is enough for me to know he's safe

There can't be any better news than that Nina!! I know your elated, but I also you know your oh so very proud. And well.... so am I. A job well done indeed. way to go Peter!!! I can't wait to meet him, and congratulate him myself. Words can't express how happy I am for you, and if there were, I would barely be able to see the screen because of my tears. Nina, I'm just soo happy for you guys.

This is amzing news!!! I am soooooo happy for you and happy that Pete is on his way back to the USA and better yet.... back in your arms!!!!

I guess when he gets back we won't be seeing a certain person for a couple of days.
