Guess what I did on my lunch break.....

I went to bare escentuals to check out there products (based on a thread here talking about mineral makeup). I met Taryn, another LIW bride, and she was sooooooo sweet and nice and took her time explaining everything about the line and applying makeup (I generally do not wear any makeup). The makeup is great!!!!!!! I dont even feel like I have any foundation on. I have already gotten lots of compliments. I wanted a natural look but only better

She is a makeup artist and I asked about using her for day of bridal makeup. She is reasonably priced and I felt sooo comfortable (she knows how important the day is) and she does great makeup. She is jgarsik on here. FM for more info. I think I may have found my artist (I may do more trials for the fun, my BP really wants to try different places and people).

If you havent tried bare minerals before, you deinitely should (you WILL be convereted)!!!!!!

I only wear BM...I found it a few years ago and was hooked! I had given up liquid foundations a few years before, but now I can't go with out. I don't bother with the Mineral Veil though, I don't seem to need it. My fave blush is Clear Radiance...I got my FMIL and FSIL hooked on BM!

I have been wearing this make up for the past 2+ years and I love it. I love that I don't feel like I am wearing makeup. My skin has never looked clearer!!!! Enjoy!!!

All I use is Bare Minerals too. I love it!!! It's so light. I love that it's all natural!! I'm a definate Bare minerals fan!

I have a question about this- does it work for people with oily skin? I am SOOOO oily. I wake up at 7, put on makeup at 8:15 and by 11, I need 2 of those Clean & Clear oil sheets. Would this powder stuff work for me? And how is it priced? I heard in the summer time, you can look streaky. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi, yes it does my skin is very oily too...i started using it last year!!! FH's cousin works there.
I absolutely love it!!! Now all the make up companies try to make smth like that!
this make up is no heavy and you dont get sudges all over your face..go to the store and try it..they''ll do your make up for free!

I wanted to love BE so much but it doesn't cover my dark circles so it was a no go for me. Otherwise, I loved it on my face. It covered my acne scars and it did feel like I had nothing on.

love bare mins.; it covers my dark circles and it keeps my skin virtually clear of blemishes. i've been using it for about 2 years now. i'm nervous about it not lasting the entire day of my wedding though?!

I LOVE THIER MAKEUP!!!!! I buy off of QVC though they have some great deals, bonus sizes, special packages.....I find that I dont get as good of deals at the store.....If you anyone is thinking of trying them I HIGHLY suggest getting the starter kit from Sephora, it has everything you need and 3 brushes for like $60. You can try it out without breaking the bank.

It literally makes your skin clearer and you dont feel goopy and clogged! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!
