Guess what I found out...

Guess what I found out...

On friday one of my BM kept asking me for the swatch of the dress so she can get her shoes dyed...(she didn't even have the shoes yet) SO I told her I haven't had a chance to pick it up and I will go this weekend. SO I get a call from her friday night that she went behind my back to macys and asked them for my swatch. I was very upset about that because I wanted to go get it....It is my wedidng right?? So she also tells me that she asked about the dresses and the girl told ehr they were in already. So I called back macy's and asked them and they claimed that they came in last week and they were going to call me that night. Mind you it was already 8:30. So we went on saturday to see the dresses. they came out great!!! they were a little big. But that is ok. So I was happy about that. But do you think I was being bridezilla about the swatch. I was so upset that she went behing my back to go get it that I was almos tin tears. My mom said I was over reatcing but come on. I tell you I was going to pick it up and then I get a call and you have it and everything. I thought it was messed up and so did a few of my other BM's.

Maybe she thought she was helping you out. I wouldnt be upset at all. Also look at it this way, she's being pro-active and wants to get her shoes dyed and ready! Dont let it get to you!

I don't think she meant it to upset you. She may have been in the Macy's area and figured it would just be easier for her to get it while she was there. I'd be glad not to have to do one more thing and have someone else do it. Plus as a bonus you got to find out that the dresses were in, which is seems like Macy's neglected to tell you.

I wouldn't take it to heart...i think she meant well.

I personally wouldn't have been upset about it. The more someone else wants to do the less i have to do myself.

Glad your dresses came in and look great. Time is flying.

well she asked me on friday if I wanted her to pick them up and I told her no cause I wanted to go. I was excited about going and all. So it rellay upset me that she went even after I told her I wanted to go.

I don't think she meant to upset you either. If she wanted the swatch for her shoes that's a good thing. It's better to have a proactive bridesmaid than one who ignores what's going on with everything and waits until the last minute!

well she also asked me that day what day my wedding was....I was very mad that she didn't even know. I mean she has the STD and she is in the wedidng.

I dont think you should be upset. I think she was trying to be helpful. Maybe she has the money to do the shoes now, so she wanted to get them done.

I would be upset Macy's did not call yet to say the dresses were in.

yeah I was upset about amycs too and I told them that I was and that they should have called me when they first came in.

I wouldn't get upset about it... I think she was just anxious to see / get her shoes. Better that than be an MIA bridesmaid who doesn't care. I would be happy that she cared that much

i am going to be honest with you I would have initially been upset also because she was kind of stepping on your toes especially since you told her you would do it- (she was being a bit impatient) honestly though at this point it isnt even worth it shrug it off

Ditto! It's a swatch of fabric - I'm not quite sure why you wouldn't want her to pick it up since it saved you a trip. Trust me, there are way worse things to get upset about. The good thing is that your dresses are in! Woohoo!

i wouldnt be upset over it either - some people complain there BMs arent doing enough - be glad you have a proactive bridesmaid and dont get upset at her over it

My dad asked me what day my wedding was. I think he still thinks that I am getting married the day before or after...

i think this might have been a slight BZ moment. step back and look at it as she figured you were so busy and why should you have to go get it when she is your BM and can do it for you and not hassle you.

seriously with all the girls stories about BMs that are totally not helpful at all---be happy you have one that was trying to take some weight off your shoulders
