Any idea how soon you can do that?? Someone I know did it a few months before the wedding. I want to get on my FH insurance but his job declined. Does that sound right?

Well, even though I am filling out the paperwork now, he is not eligible until the effective date of our wedding.

Your FH can fill out the paperwork, but you wouldn't be under his until your wedding date. Some jobs offer insurance to couples who live with each other. Its kind of confusing but if you too have been under the same residence for a few years they have some sort of agreement and you can take his insurance. If you need insurance, I would ask you FH to ask his job (Human Resources). HTH.
