I decided on a whim yesterday (while I was in Michael's) to make ALL of my holiday gift tags. Am I insane or what??? I started last night...so far, I like a couple and there are others that I'm not crazy about. But, it's a fun project and I think it will add a nice 'personal touch' to all my gifts!

I'm not quite that ambitious, but I have a similar project I'm working on.
Off and on over the past years my Dad has made hand-painted watercolor tags. Just simple cut-out rectangles and squares.
So this year I decided I'm going to make and decorate tags that will have a place for a section of watercolor paper. I'm going to send the tags and watercolor paper (with a foam adhesive backing) to my Dad to paint, and attach to the tags.
It should be fun to see what the collaboration yields. I haven't told him yet, but I'm sure he'll like the idea since he paints frequently now that he's retired and he loves it.
