Guess what my boss did?

Yesterday morning, the VP of me department (my boss's boss) calls me into his office 'to talk about my wedding'. I figured it would be an apology for never responding (I sent him an invitation but I never got his response card). So we sit down and he's like 'My wife and I would love to attend, if it's not too late...'. Not too late?! It's 5 days away!! But he's my VP, so how could I say no? He was originally invited, so I said 'Yes, sure, no problem...', trying not to show the PANIC in my eyes! I had already called in with my headcount days ago. Luckily my catering hall was OK with it, since it was only adding 2 more people and I didn't hand in the seating chart yet. But now I have to go back to Kinko's and print out one more seating card for him. Talk about LAST MINUTE! He's actually a pretty cool guy, so I'm glad he's coming, but it's a shame people can be so inconsiderate I just wanted to share...

It is cool though that he wants to come, but your right about some people being inconsiderate.

I think that that was kind of rude of him to tell you so last minute... it's nice that he has decided to attend your wedding, but he could have given you more notice...
