Guess what one of my BM tells me today

AW you're such a good friend!!! I said since the begining, I just have a feeling one of my BM;s would be prego, but it would make me happy. One of my friends is kinda trying and two others are amrried, so you never know!

congrats to your friend!!!! She likely will be able to still fit into her dress, after it's taken out a bit. My friends only started getting really uncomfortable in the third trimester (unless they had morning sickness )

2nd trimester should be pretty comfy....

She is preggo. She was scared to tell me. Did not want to ruin my day. I told her don't be silly. I love her any shape form or fashion. Problem is she already got fitted for dress and ordered. So I told her we would have to speak with alterations and see what could be done. I also advised her it is up to her if she still wanted to be in the wedding because i know it is going to be hot and all I want her to be comfortable. She will probably be about 4-5months.

Same exact thing happened to me and with one of my BM's. I was so happy for her, but she still felt bad knowing she had already placed the order for the BM dress. I told her no big deal.
So what she did was called the bridal salon and they will order her an extra panel that will go around her belly. She'll be 20 weeks at my wedding and it'll be all good

If this is her first child she may not actually START showing until that time so she won't be HUGE. I mean at least that is the case for most women in their first pregnancy.

Is there anyway you can cancel the order for her dress and maybe order her a different style? Wait - what style are your dresses? are they empire waist? those are easier to add fabric to around the middle....

call your place - ask!

Hey Lisa, you have the right attitude. My advise would be to see how big she is about a month from the wedding because she could not show one week and have a little bump next week. You never know how big or small your belly will be during pregnancy. She will be fine and so will you
