Guess What we're doing today??

We are going house hunting!! The other house we were looking at fell through. The appraisal came in much too high for us. So we are heading out east today to go check out some houses that are actually in our price range!! Wish Us Luck!!

Well, day one is done and we found a really nice house!! We only got to go and check out the neighborhood and the outside of the house. When we called the realtor, he said he had other appointments today and couldn't show us the house today, but he gave us the address to go look at it. Well, we fell in love with the outside so far and we are calling Monday to make an appointment to go look at the inside. The property was amazing. It was a 97x237 lot. The house is the last one on a dead end, which is nothing new, I grew up in the last house on a dead end and my apartment now is the last hpuse on a dead end. It is next to a wildlife preserve, so we would never have to worry about a house being built next to us. It is a three bedroom, 1 bath (we'll definitely have to add a bath). The property is just amazing. That is a major thing for me. I want a huge backyard so we can have family over for BBq's and parties and so that when we have children, there is plenty of room for them to run around. I am so excited!! I know I shouldn't be too excited or get my hopes up, it is the first house we looked at, but this is just so exciting. Well, hopefully the inside will impress us just as much as the outside!! We just have to be patient and wait and see!!

Oops, forgot to write where! We are looking in Selden! I have family out there and a lot of our friends just moved out there so it would be perfect!!
