Guess who got a Job Offer....

ME ME ME
I was freaking out b/c I'm graduating law school and the job market ****s!! But my boss at the law firm that I've worked in since college called me today and offered me an Associate's position at her firm. WOOOHOOO!!! I have to call her on Wednesday to let her know if I'm going to accept it or not.
It's a small law firm that specializes in matrimonial law (divorces, prenups, postnups,etc), family law, real estate law, employment discrimination and Wills.
I'm so happy right now. Now all I need is for my grandma to be released from the hospital. She went into the hospital on Mother's Day and has been there since. She's fine now, but they want to see how her body reacts to the medicine they gave her, so they're not releasing her yet. I was hoping they'd release her today, but they didn't. Hopefully tomorrow

YAY Marcela!!!! Its a great feeling to finish school and have a job right behind it. You must be so happy!!

I hope your grandma is doing okay. I will send you some prayers for her quick recovery.

Wednesday my friend from school and I are going to get seaweed wraps at the place that Aliaspook recommended and Thursday I start BAR/BRI and I have it ALL day. Since we're graduating on the 23rd and we'd miss that lecture, BAR/BRI is going to give us both lectures on Thursday.

Are you available on Tuesday in the afternoon? I have to go pick up my BAR/BRI books from Hofstra, so I'll be on LI.

Hmmm the only thing will be when you are coming and when I finish my summary judgment. I have to bring it to school. Honestly if I can finish it early I want to hand it in on Monday night since I will be there for a final - but that is not likely. It is due at 5 though - so that is the only thing - I could meet you at say 6 since I would have to hand it in BEFORE 5 anyway. That would be a definite time. I can't promise before that - but I will try. I can give you a better idea on Monday.
