ME ME ME
I was freaking out b/c I'm graduating law school and the job market ****s!! But my boss at the law firm that I've worked in since college called me today and offered me an Associate's position at her firm. WOOOHOOO!!! I have to call her on Wednesday to let her know if I'm going to accept it or not.
It's a small law firm that specializes in matrimonial law (divorces, prenups, postnups,etc), family law, real estate law, employment discrimination and Wills.
I'm so happy right now. Now all I need is for my grandma to be released from the hospital. She went into the hospital on Mother's Day and has been there since. She's fine now, but they want to see how her body reacts to the medicine they gave her, so they're not releasing her yet. I was hoping they'd release her today, but they didn't. Hopefully tomorrow

Thanks so much girls for the well wishes and prayers from my grandma!! You are all so sweet I just got back from the hospital and it looks like they're not letting her out today either. :( Hopefully tomorrow.

Congrats, Marcela I am so happy for you! It is so much easier to focus on the bar when you don't have the added stress of interviewing and worrying about having a job.

YEAHHHHH I'm so glad to hear that she is home- I know that took a load off your shoulders.

My grandfather is still not home - but should be home soon.

I'm about ready to just burn my books! I still have a final tomorrow night and I have to finish my summary judgment which is due on tues.

I just got my assignment for entertainment law (starts Thurs night - 80 pages to read on wed!)

Marcela what day does bar start? Do you have any days off?

Tammy - did they give you a date for release yet?

Thanks so much girls!! I'm so glad she's finally home. We just finished celebrating Mother's Day since we didn't get to celebrate it b/c she went into the hospital that day.

Christine: I'm sure he'll be home soon. My grandma was fine, but they just wanted to give her EVERY test imaginable (just in case) and they also kept her there b/c they gave her a medication that thins her blood and they wanted to get to make sure that it was the right amount. That's probably why your grandpa is still there. He will be in my prayers
BAR/BRI starts on Thursday and I'm going to be there all day. I graduate on Friday. And I'm going to cancel my appointment for the seaweed wrap b/c I have to runs some errands with my grandma on Wednesday.
