Good for you!! I am a smoker as well but have cut done considerably. I can go all week without a cig, but come weekends when I go out more (and drink), I can go through a whole pack. I know I can do it because I can go for days and days but I do not know how to deal with the social smoking yet!!! You should be very proud of yourself, it is a difficult thing!!!

That is WONDERFUL!! Congratulations!! I am also a smoker. I intend to get the patch soon and stop smoking. I hope to be smoke free by my wedding day. We'll see

CONGRATULATIONS!!! i am also trying to quit smoking, how did you do it, i have cut down but i am still smoking about 10 a day and i really want to quit alltogether. congrats again

I have tried to quit so many times before and it never seemed to work. Finally, I woke up one day and thought about what I was doing to myself. That at some point in the next couple of years we are going to want to have a child and god forbid my smoking habit stand in the way. I am also a singer and although my voice is still fine, I know that at somepoint it would take its toll.

It is soooo hard, I find myself thinking of it alot esp when im in the car or talking on the phone or stressed- but I think im going to really stick to it this time

I think what you have done is AWESOME! Keep it up!.. I have so many friends that I wish would stop smoking. It's just so not worth it. Congrats to you!

I just want to say you should be VERY proud of yourself - keep up the amazing job.
It is VERY hard quiting - I smoked for about 10 years and in Fall of 2002 I finally was able to quit - I haven't smoked since BUT every so often I still get the craving for one when I drink
