Guess who has pink-eye!? And its NOT JA this time!

YEp, some little rascal at the gym gave me pink-eye!!
I didnt think anything of it this past Sunday, my eye was just itching a little.
Then that eye felt better and the other eye started the itching, gookyness. Then Tues, wed, were ok. Then yesterday I was dabbing and TRYING NOT to itch my eye all day.

SO I went to the Dr this morning, yep pinkeye. Im on antibiotics (just a gel to put in my eye, safe for preggos), and washing my hands every other minute. I dont wanna pass it to my poor munchkin, he has enough to deal with, with teething

Dr said it should be gone within a day or two.

also make sure you are the only one using your washcloth, towel, etc...

Claud Sometimes I feel like spraying these kids with Lysol because theyre coughing and sneezing and theyre moms say 'oh shes not sick' just so they dont get sent home and they can get their workout in and the kids are trained to say theyre NOT sick

But theyre so darn cute.

anna the only positive thing about pink eye is that the medication works VERY quickly. I feel for you! It is so uncomfortable!!!!

I have to say it DOES work quickly, even though the other eye got it last nite , both eyes feel MUCH better and LOOK much better this morning..

I have too much going on this weekend to be stopped by pinkeye

they will both feel even better and probably look close to fine by the morning. i wouldn't worry about it! Just keep your hands away from your eyes! Easier said than done.....

Oh Anna, I'm so sorry to hear that!!! I don't understand some parents. Same thing for school -- they'll send their kids sick as dogs to school just so it doesn't mess up their schedule. I promise, I WILL NEVER BE THAT KIND OF PARENT!!!!

I hope you're feeling better and JA and John don't get it!!! Throw out your mascara after this!!!!

Feel better!! Remember get rid of any old eye products, shadows, mascara, liner etc.

OMG, we have kids tell us all the time at Day Care that they threw up or had a fever and Mommy gave them medicine so they could come to school Then they wonder why the kids get sick all the time!!!!
