A college friend had tickets to Spring Awakening (a new broadway show) so we went this afternoon and one of the main actresses was Kate Burton! (Ellis Grey - Meredith's mom - from Grey's Anatomy)
I kept thinking she looked familiar and was flipping through my program and I was right - it was her! Had no idea she could sing.
Totally unexpected!

Such a good show. A little dark, but as long as you know what you're getting into (and don't bring a 14 year old cousin) it's a great show!
