Guest addresses - what program?

Has anyone discovered a good way to organize guest addresses so you can print them out for STD, invites, thank yous, etc? Word, excel? Another program?

TIA!

For me, it depended on how the vendor I was using for the computer calligraphy needed it - she wanted word - so that's what I used.

My invitation vendor wanted Word but my fiancee swears by Excel!! I guess it depends on whatever you are more comfortable with.

I used Word and Excel. This list was done in Excel then I did a mail merge in word which pulled the data from Excel.

I'm using my google/gmail address book which is synced to my apple address book. Easily prints out to pdf to give to vendors if needed and easy to update wherever you are as long as you have email access.

Excel, then using mail merge into labels in word.

Just google 'mail merge microsoft office' and you'll find all kinds of resources on how to do it. Its super easy.

I'm using Excel. I also have formulas set up so it adds the number of yes & no responses.

FH also color-coded and made a pie chart of the distribution of guests (my family, his family, friends, etc)
