How many guests are you expecting at your wedding?

We are inviting 240, I think, possibly a few less. We are hoping for as little as possible

We invited 190 and I am hoping only 140 to 150 show up.

We have a 120 min guarantee and I am trying not to go over but we're leaning towards 150 already and still counting

Right now we have 280 on our list and the response to our STD was pretty high. We originally thought that a bunch of the OOT guests wouldn't come - but they are are all treating this like a family reunion!

We're inviting almost 350, I would guess ( we need 200 invites) so I hope only about 200 come. Most of them are in Florida anyway...

I am inviting 149 1/2 (Children count as 1/2 and we have an uneven amount) and I am seriously hoping for 125!!!!!!!!

well we guaranteed 250 so that is how many we are paying for... we are inviting i think about 300.

Our minimum gurantee is 125. The max we can have is 150. I'm praying for 135 to 140. I'm getting sick to my stomach because last minute my FH's family gave us six couples to add to the invitation list, which put us up to 170! Prior to that we were at 158 with a few invitations going out to six people that we knew couldn't come. FH's family told us that none of these people would be able to make it, but they wanted to extend the courtesy, and now we are beginning to hear back that some of these people are making plans for coming out for the wedding. I am getting really nervous about all of this.

We're inviting around 215...Had to gurantee 165...Hopefully we get at least that many...Maybe even 180

Sammi - take my advice, if you could 250 invites, I would do just that. From a cost persepctive, it shouldn't be much of a difference (maybe $50). The calligrapher we used to do the evelopes needed at least 20 extras, and we only had 80 evelopes to have made up.

As for me, initially, we said we didn't want more than 85, the the number gew from 85 to 100, now our list grew from 100 to 140. That is it. We can't afford to add another person. I hope out of the 140, only 120 RSVP.

My FH is from Seattle, so for the wedding on LI, it will be just my family, friends, his parents, and sister's family. It was really hard trying to find a nice venue when I could barely promise 50 people!! Since then the number got up to 68. I hope they all can make it! A week later, we are having a reception in Seattle and hoping for 60 people.
