Is anyone doing a polaroid guest book at their wedding? If so how are you arranging it?

Re: Guest book
We're getting two cameras and enlisting two of our teenage cousins to help direct the guests, take pictures of them, etc.
We are buying a plain black photo book but binder style so guests can take the page that they're on and write on it. When they're done they can bring it back and stick it in the book.
The photo corners will be in place already- the guests just have to stick their photos in. And having a bunch of silver, archival ink pens to write with.
Also making a directions poster and mounting on foam board.
Will be set up in the cocktail hour room and then moved to the reception area - but hoping that most of it is done during the cocktail hour...
Oh and buying the film and camera from ebay.

Re: Guest book
Hi yes we did, do NOT waste your money on those polaroid guest books, I bought that and from target a 12.99 book that you put pictures in and there is room for guest to write and they all choose that book!!! I wasted 100 bucks on the polaroid guest book with a personlized name plate- waste waste waste. I bought a polaroid camera and film, for 180 guest I bought 110 pictures of film and the camera so easy to use the 600 instant camera I bought the camera and film from amazon for 143 bucks. good luck and it was a HUGE hit!!! believe it or not the ol timers had more fun with it than the young guests!!! Oh it was set up at the CH along with 2 photo collages of me and DH and then it moved right outside the reception room.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard good things about polaroid guest books - I would like to do one but need to think about it logistically.
