Re: Guest Book

We're having one, my mom bought it for us for our engagement party. I'm sure a lot of people will forget to sign it and I don't think they're necessary, oh well!

I feel like its cute right after to read them, but I have to spend the money on it and then its another thing I have to store and will probably never look at again. I would rather have pictures of my guests then a guest book.

no bc personally wehn i go to weddings, i dont sign them... why would i expect others to? i mean they cant even send back rsvp's, you're going to ask them to actually WRITE something?

Re: Guest Book

I actually think I'm going to bring ours to our RD and let people start writing in it there. I'm also debating bringing it to after-party.

I want to try to give people the most opportunity to doodle all over the darn thing!

One thing I am really sad about from the past is that my bat mitzvah sign-in board was done with ink that faded over time. By the time I turned 20, the only thing left on it was where my grandfather had written his name and my nana's name in black pen. Everything else had completely vanished.

Not to say I'd need that anymore, but it could've been cool. That's why I'm going with the coffee table book idea. People always have books around their house... I certainly won't lose it. If I look at it, cool. If not, also cool.

You have to do what works for you. We're not doing personalized table numbers. It's just not something I need. That's not to say some girls' table #s aren't gorgeous (they are!) it's just not for our wedding.

I made a photo guest book on kodak.com. It came out really cute and was only $35...there was a sale going on and shipping was free.

At least if people don't sign our guest book then we'll have a cute phot book

Hey lisa..
I was thinking about this too. I just like about 4 pictures of us so it makes it hard lol.

I know what you mean....I did every other page blank for guests to write stuff. At the beginning of the book there are all pics from when we are little then the last 3 pages are just us.
