Are any of you having a guest book?? I dont know if i need or want one...not sure the purpose...tell me what you think.......i also saw a poloroid guest book...has anyone used this

We are doing a gues book, but we are also doing a photo mat sign by the guest book. We are going to put one of our epictures in the mat and people will be able to sign around the photo. After the wedding we are going to put in one of our wedding photos and then have it framed.

i'm still debating I love the photo guest book idea..but then again I like the wish bowl idea..I dont want a regular sign in guest book seems to funeralish for me..

im doing 'make a wish' and 'take a wish' bowls (idea is in one of my albums)...does that mean i wouldnt do a guestbook? hadnt thought of that!

when my friends got married they bought a book of hawaii from barnes and noble(that where they went on there HM) like one of those big coffee table books and then everyone signed that book.. it was kinda cool, different

we are doing the photo guest book.. I'm having my Jr. bridesmaid & Jr. Groomsman stand at the entrance to cocktail hour and ask guests if they want to have their photo taken and sign the guestbook

This is a cute site for guestbooks too (I like the vase, it's different)...
i am also torn about the guestbook. what do you do with it after the wedding? do you really read through it lovingly every year? my guess is no

We're doing the wish bowl--the guest book seems a little silly. Why do I need people's signatures? We know who we invited! But I like the idea of everyone giving us wishes or advice, and since it will be on cards,there won't be a line for them, people can take the cards, write down their ideas, and toss them in the bowl before they leave. I'm going to put out a bunch of pens, not just one or two, and I'm going to make sure there's at least two cards for each person, because I know some of the kids are going to use more than one. Then, after the honeymoon, we're going to mount the envelopes in an album, and we can read the cards over whenever we like.

We are doing just a regular guest book.
My MOH used the polaroid guestbook for her e-party. Its AWESOME- however- it only has 30 pages in it. And is a bit pricey. She also had to buy a camera & film which was more $. So if youre looking to save some cash, this is NOT the guestbook to use! But if the $ is no object, its a totally kick @ss idea! The pix we all took came out hysterical!

nah, we're not having one. It's sort of like a yearbook... it contains lots of not too well thought out comments (congrats! Best wishes in the future...), and only a few nice ones...
I figure the cards will have the real notes in them, and we can keep those tucked away...
)
