what do ya'll think about a polaroid guestbook? basically i'd buy a polaroid camera and some glue sticks, and have people take pictures of themselves (or have someone else take a pic of them) and glue it in the book with their message....

Re: guest book question
My sister did it for her sweet 16 and it was so much fun!
We had my aunt snap a picture of each guest as they came in and then I gave them paper to write on and glued everything together...
You should do it!!!

Re: guest book question
do you have a younger cousin you can put in charge of it...they are generally excited to take pictures anyway, and they will love the fact that they are involved?

Re: guest book question
I looked into doing that as a to avoid getting a photobooth but the polaroids now-a-days are so expensive and they only come with 10 photos a pack I think... And the older folk may not take a picture so you might want to assign a jr bridesmaids as the 'Supervisor' for the guest book... It is great idea let me know how it works out. I just ended up getting a photobooth

Re: guest book question
I think it's a fun idea! Honestly, even if you had a photobooth, or a traditional guest book...a lot of people skip it (esp. the older ones) so in the end, it really doesn't make a difference IMO.
Whoever you ask to do it doesn't have to do it all night...they could even just walk around cocktail hour and take pics of everyone who wants to do it. That way, they still get to mingle!
