I used to be friends with a girl, more so when I was single. Really nice girl, but on a number of occasions she's gotten so drunk she's fallen off chairs, passed out in a bar, running around with her thong hanging out and not realizing it. We grew apart, my lifestyle is different from hers, but we still talk once in a while. I considered not inviting her, but I knew that would completely be the end of our friendship. So I did invite her. Anyone else in this situation? What are you doing about it? I think I'm going to talk to her about it and maybe talk to the RH about it?

crashing: I have a couple of people we are worried about. FMIL has an old friend who is completely trashed by 4pm, every day. If its bad when they are young, imagine a woman in her late 60s spewing racial epitaphs and groping guys old enough to be her grandson. FMIL didn't want to invite her, but she was there when FH was born, Bar Mitzvah, etc. I am going to give the bartender some pictures and instruct them to water down the drinks of a select few and hope for the best.

I have friend like thus too. Well actually I have two... The girl is known for blacking out and not remembering anything. She remains pretty tame though just misses out on the fun alot. And then there is the guy. He can get beligerant and become rude and obnoxious, he loses his filter when drunk if you know what I mean. They have both gotten better with the drinking but given an open bar I'm worried! But I had to invite them because they are the bride and groom!!! Hahahaha!

Where do I start? Me, FH, FFIL, FSIL, FBIL, Cousins, Friends, the whole entire wedding. I just figure at least my parents won't get too drunk. At least I hope
On a serious note I can understand your concern so just let her know if she gets too out of hand you will have to send her home in a cab.
