Guest issue!!

I'm a little upset and here is why. I moved a lot when I was younger so I have few friends from childhood. The is one friend I've know for 14 yrs. We are still very close. My FH loves him and thinks hes a great guy and we asked him a yr ago to be one our GM's. He said yes. At that time he was single. Soon he started seeing this girl who I never liked. I didn't hate her, but after that snobby B#%!#@ stole $200 out of my purse, I flat out told him I don't want her going to my wedding. He still believes she innocent. We know she did it and I never got my money back.. Most of my guest in our medieval group know her, because yrs before me she was once involved in our medieval group and she was a theif and liar then too, hence she is not welcome with any of them. My friend refuses to believe she took my money. So I told him flat out, I don't want that dirty &*^(*&( coming to my wedding, and he told me he isn't coming now. My FH is upset with me for saying that. But I don't want that @$%@ coming to my wedding. Am I being a brat??? My FH knows she took my money, but he is very good friends with my friend as well. So I don't know what to do. Sorry this is long.

WOW!!!! I don't really have any advice on this - b/c it's a comfort issue. I know you won't have any major contact with her b/c you'll be so busy being the life of the party, but you have to think of the other guests, their personal belongings and safety, along with your wedding card box.

ETA: I forgot to give you some major

Re: Guest issue!!

well i would not allow ANYONE who stole from me or anyone i know at my wedding.

now i cant say that the wording you used helped the situation..and maaaayyyybe that could have been handled better.( if you actually called her bad names to her boyfriend/your friend)..but i would have said no as well. and would have wanted to curse her too lol

i am sooooooo sorry !!!! eeeks!!!

I don't think you are being a brat at all and can understand why you are upset. It is your wedding and you don't have to have her there if you don't want her there. As for your friend, unfortunately it is difficult to get someone to see a person for what they really are when the person you are trying to convince is blinded by their own emotion (love, lust, insanity, etc). I would talk to your friend over the next few months and perhaps he'll eventually see her as everyone else does. If he doesn't end up going, that is someone you don't really want in your life anyway. JMHO. Let us know what happens!
