around 175...how i thought i could do under 150 is beyond me

I asked my SIL if you tell your RH 110 how many do you really invite ? she said to invite 200 so that mean I am getting 90 NO's? Seem unreal- But never the less my list is like 140 right now

well my family after everything is said and done.. who is talk who is not .. not so large but apparently i am marrying into the Kennedys because mr FH 'friends list' of close friends is 140... lol im praying i dont have over 250 .. thankfully my room holds up to 350.. BUT we are paying for this sooo im hoping smaller then larger then 250 .. or i will not be able to live in a house.. ill have to build one out of cardbroad and hope either my parents or inlaws will let us pick a spot on the lawn

right now we are around 170 right now but with a handful of people that we will cut if need be. We would really like the final number to be around 130-135 (140 max)

you're supposed to assume that 20% of the people will rsvp as no ...so if you invite about 140, you should be ok ... of course, if you're inviting a lot of OOT people, you might have more than 20% no's ... i'd invite about 160-175 to be safe

lol i know what you mean. i was hoping that we would have $ for a downpayment for a house but this wedding is draining our account

thats a main reason why we waited 2 years one year to pay off a wedding another year to save for a down payment.. which just seems like it never will happen!!!! fingers crossed!

everybody says it's possible - you just need to cut down on unnecessary spending (i find that hard to do)

yep! cant wait we were alittle iffy about it .. but everyone we asked and the place all said its a great night to have a party... We both love the whole winter wedding thing.. and int he begin we had no date in mind.. soo i was like greta we will get a deal its during a cheap season.. YEA OK new years eve bumped it right back up! but im excitied for it! our anniversary now is on new years day so its cute we can keep it almost the same.. and im hoping this makes him not forget our anniversary or it will be a fun beg of the new year lol!!

so far we are at about 130. Cause my FH is from Barbados so unfortunately many of his family and friends will not be able to attend. I really do not want to go over 150

For 110 I would invite 140. 200 is going to give you 160 guests!

i have close to 100. My minimum is 100. I have the opposite problem in that both mine and FH's families are very small. If alot people don't bring dates we may be under the minimum!
