Okay....I need advice....Do you think its rude to invite FH's single friends (who will know many people at the wedding) without a guest if they do not have a girlfriend?
The thing is I don't want them to bring someone for the sake of bringing them (besides the cost I have concerns about the room being over crowded)
My single GF's I will write and guest....but I know that if they are not dating anyone they wont bring a random....the same cant be said for FH's friends lol
Im thinking I'll address the invite to just the friend and if they have a GF at the time they want to bring they'll just tell FH...and then they can bring the date.
Opinions???

There is nothing wrong with that at all! You can just address it to them without putting '& Guest'

Re: Guest question
I dont know...I think its not right to invite some singles with guests and others without. What about only inviting the people who are seriously dating with a guest? If there are going to be a lot of singles there, then its not like they wont have anyone to talk to.

i agree. i had the same dilemma but in the end I invited everyone with guests anyway (well, except for the people I didn't want to invite in the first place but was forced to ) but no one brought randoms so it worked out.

Re: Guest question
The friends who have GF and BF I am DEFINTLY inviting with a guest...its the singles I am up in the air about...but I think its all or none.....
I think Im goin with none....if someone doesent have a BF or GF I am just inviting them.....no guest if things change and they have a BF or GF they can tell me and bring them
guest lists are so annoying....its just that my room has capacity and I am close to overflow ahhhhh

i have to also agree ... i think its an all or nothing situation. its not fair to invite your friends with a guest, but not your FH's friends.
we invited everyone with a guest, there were no randoms.

Re: Guest question
I don't think it's rude at all. I had a similar problem and we decided to invite only those who are in long-term relationships with a guest. We really didn't want anyone to bring someone just to fill the +1.
