Guestbook type thing

I'm wondering what everyone's doing for a guest book... I've heard of photo mats and wish bowls. But then sometimes they end up with only a couple of notes. What do you think is the best way to get all your guests involved?

actually doing all three- tradt'l guest book, photomat and wish bowl- see what happens

I had a wishbowl. I actually had a lot of people write us messages. Maybe because it was located close to the bar lol, and also the DJ announced what it was for.

I just did a traditional guest book at the church & then the RH. Not many people signed it though, so I'm not sure if it was the best way to get people involved.

i did a photo book on shutterfly and uploaded different pictures of us growing up then to us dating, etc....tons of people signed it throughout the night, because we left room on each page and tried to include lots of pictures of family, friends, etc with us, so for example on the page with DH and his brothers as babies, his brothers signed there, my college friends all signed on that page.

it seemed to work out really well, and it's a great keepsake. it was really easy to make and only cost like 25-30 bucks.

We aren't doing a guest book or anything similar.
I think the wish bowl is a really cute idea though.

we used a regular guestbook. it was placed on the 'greeting' table with the placecards/favors.
we had a small wedding of about 76 guests and I think about 62 signed the book which made me happy.
maybe that could work for you.

We're just doing a traditional guestbook. I found a leather one in a teal-Tiffany-like color at Kate's Paperie and bought it on the spot. It will match really well with our color scheme.

We did a polaroid guest book, not everyone is in it but we got alot of pictures of our guests, just make sure to be very clear on directions or assign someone to take pics during CH

Our guestbook is going to be a big frame. I thought it was a cool idea so when can hang it up afterwards. We wanted something that can be seen on a daily basis not something that gets put away.

It's something to think about.
