Re: Guestlist

i'm using excel as well. i have a sepearte sheet made up for thanks you's that i used for my eparty, it had a column for what they gave and a column for thank you sent.
im gonna add more column closer to my wedding (table #, rsvp, etc)

for the kids that are free..under # invited/coming i just put 0 because i have an equation set up to add all the people toegther and i dont want them added

Re: Guestlist

Yea, I am using Excel as well. But, I like having the option of printing, and since ALL the columns don't fit I am basically making two. One has the following:
First Name
Last Name
Address
STD Sent
Invite Sent
And, then on the other one (I just copied their names over) has this':
Gift given
Table #
# Attending
That way it's the stuff for pre-wedding and then more for during wedding... made it a bit more orginized for me... Since I'm doing it at work, I wanted the option of printing and fitting it all on one page.... I'm a nut like that. Hope this helped...

i am doing everything on excel spread sheet... for me its the easy way

Me too. If you understand excel, its the way to go. I just did columns for last name, first name, #ppl expected (invited), #yes, #no. Then I just had the tally running at the bottom.

Then I made another sheet with name, gift, attended (yes or no).

And for seating I made a chart for each table and was just moving names around until the tables were filled.

Re: Guestlist

I've been using Excel. I started it before our eparty and I've been adding to it. It's a little crazy at this point but I know how to sort and print only the parts I need etc so I can handle it! Here's what I have:

ID (for response cards-don’t rely on excel's row # in case you resort your list or add someone!)
Last Name (For escort cards…)
First Name
Guest First
Guest Last
List (A/B/C)
STD sent (Y/N)
# Adults Invited
# Kids Invited
# Adults Attending
# Kids Attending
# Rehearsal Invited
# Rehearsal Attending
Outside of Envelope
Shower Outside of Envelope (Ladies only)
Street Address
Street Address 2 (Apartment etc)
City
State
Zip Code
Home Phone
Cell Phone
Guest Phone
Email
Table #
Relation (Fam/Friend/Coworker)
Side (His/Hers)
# E Party Invited
# E Party Attended
E-gift given
E Thank you sent (Y/N)
# Shower Invited
# Shower Attending
Shower Gift given
S Thank you sent (Y/N)

P.S. Here's a tip in case you didn't know. If you highlight a column or section of a column excel counts the total for you in the bottom right status bar. I find this more helpful than having a formula b/c I can resort or just highlight the people on the A list, the shower list etc to see the totals for the different things.

I have an excel spreadsheet with the following columns:
name
address
phone number
# of people invited and # attending
if invites were sent out
RSVP received
table number
what gift they gave me
if thank you cards were mailed yet.

I made up the same type of spread sheet for wedding & have seperate ones for Eparty & Shower.
