Sorry, I got carried away.. but with the size of my guest list growing daily, I feel it's appropriate! Why do parents insist on inviting people who don't even know me or my FH? I don't get it.. it's not a pool party with BBQ.. this is a wedding, and every person sets me back $$$$ They just don't get it..

You've got that right. I had a war with my mother the other day because I told her they couldn't have 4 tables of friends, half of whom I don't know in addition to our family which is almost 70 people. She's making me feel guilty but FH and I wanted to have about 150-170 guests and their are 260 people on the lsit right now- Ugh!!!!
