Have you found that many of the guests that you had to contact because they didnt respond by your RSVP date were no's, or were there a lot of guests who were comng and either gave you verbal RSVP or figured you knew they'd be there?
see i would have thought that if you had to chase someone down to respond, likely they werent coming... but im not even near my RSVP date yet and people are like 'do i really need to send in the card, you know i am going'... I'm trying to estimate where I'm gonna be and its so hard!
some who didnt send it in are coming lol and then a few arent. I guess some think we should assume they are coming or they just forgot to send it
this is something i am dreading. Why is it so hard for people to write there name, yes or no, put it in the envelope and then the mail box? are people really that busy?
My sister got 'You knew I was coming why would I RSVP.' Because all brides are mind readers these days.
I specifically did an early RSVP date for our wedding (June 1st) so I can start giving people a hard time after that. My parents, his parents and we keep getting the same thing.....you know we are coming....I said if I don't see a card.....I don't know any better. Now I hear a few people didn't even receive the invitations when I sent them all out through the post office at the same time. It's making me nervous that the responses are not coming in because people didn't get them.

FH and I let everyone know that if you didnt send a response card back don't show up because they won't be a seat for you.
Sorry if it sounds mean but i have enough on my plate and to sit there calling people who couldnt write their name on a card and send it back is not on my list of things to do.![]()
Yeah, sorry, but I find this rude and annoying and expect it from the majority of FH's family because he has NO relationship w/his uncles and cousins and his mother is insisting we invite them. We don't even know their addresses or towns they live in - I've met them all twice in the over 6 years I've known FH.
