Guidance Counselor positions???

Hi My friend is searching for a guidance counselor job--anyone know of any openings in the city, Long Island, or Westchester--Thanks!!!!

Good luck to her! I think there are over 10 ladies on here who completed their master's and have been unable to find a job.

I had a co-worker who was let go due to our budget being defeated twice. She had worked in my district for 8 YEARS!!! Law states that if they reinstate the position, not likely , that they have to offer it to her first.

Good luck to your friend. With budgets the way they are it's not a good time to be looking for a job in education on LI.

I know, I am a teacher, my school guidance counselor was excessed but after our budget passed the second time, she got her job back--it is crazy how hard it is to get a job. I just can't help her so I gave it a try :)
