Oh my....I went for an u/s because my doc wanted to make sure the baby is head down and also wanted to get the weight estimate and check the amniotic fluid.
Well, she is definitely in position (yahoo!!) and is measuring a whopping 7 lbs 3 oz at 37 weeks!!! YIKES! I am a SMALL girl....5'1' and 104lbs pre-pregnancy. How on earth am I gonna push this one out?!?!
It was soooo cool watching the baby, she was SO active tonight. She had the hiccups during the u/s and I also got to see her stick her little tongue out. AW!! I can't wait to finally meet her...I sure hope I go into labor soon, I don't want an eight pounder!!

Isn't it wonderful!!!I had a sonogram tonight as well. At 35 weeks we are measuring 8lbs 8oz. Baby is measuring almost 40 weeks. I am so scared of labor.............now drs are talking about inducing me. They are definitly not letting me go full term. We were not supposed to be due till the 30th of April. I still have not had my shower yet and we have nothing ready...........I thought I had more time. I wanna scream...........

egreen3792.....WHOA! They should definitely induce you! I wonder just how accurate these weight estimates are...hmmm. I think I will deliver earlier than my due date (4/16), but that's just a hunch I have. So how are you feeling? I didn't start feeling crappy-ish until I hit 35 weeks, but I still feel pretty good considering!! I'm just tired and swollen. Tomorrow is my last day of work, so hopefully I can relax and put my feet up more often at home! I hope everything is going well for you!! We're almost there!

Yes, we are almost there. You must be excited about your last day of work......I am a school librarian and hope to work until Spring Break on the 16th but not sure if it is going to happen. I was doing OK up until week 32. After that we started sonograms and Non Stress Tests every week. Feel good and enjoy your time off before baby. Rest, Rest, and Rest..............

Melissa, that is so exciting!!! I can't beleive she stuck her tongue out!! I hope she doesn't gain too much more, but I think you'll be fine. I can't wait til you have your baby!!!

I am so happy for you guys! I get the goose bumps when I read about all this. It must be so overwhemling emotionally and so amazing! It makes me want to have a baby sooner than planned!! I can't wait to see your little ones pics on here after they arrive! Good luck!

BTW, regarding the weight estimation. They told my sister her baby would be approx. 8 - 8 1/2 pounds at 40 weeks. He was 10.5 when he was born at 41 weeks!!
