FH spent an arm and a leg to get us a room at the borgata for my birthday and 4th anniversary.. buuuuuuuuuuuut... lucky for us.. my uncle gets free rooms everywhere and offered to let us use his free room at the borgata the same weekend so turns out FH was able to cancell our reservation so were going for FREE!!!

YAH!!! Thats awesome. Yeah FBIL's wife used to be a travel agent...so she has connects everywhere haha and since they are going they got themselves and our room for $70. Not free but still good!!

How long you staying in AC for? We are staying at Cesears so I am excited never stayed there before just at the Tropicania. But I heard Borgota is awesome. You def have to let me know!!!

ooo i like that, that is nice!! unfortunately FBIL wanted to come but I cant blame them since they wont see his brother for a year just like i wont see him when he is in Japan. So the month of June is going to be alot of stress and fun with him home haha

i think i'm hitting that downswing. I got engaged in March, and have been on a roll with the planning: RH, photo, dj, my dress, BM dresses, invitations, STDs, hotel room block, registry... now eparty.
It's sort of slowing down now because I have most major vendors booked... and every day someone asks me how the planning is going, and I feel like a broken record, and am sick of talking about it! Well, for now.
But LIW is my only constant wedding-related activity

It helps since FH is not coming home for 6 wks ... gotta keep myself entertained somehow!

You're def not alone... there are bound to be ups and downs along the way... i'm with you.. I wish this thing would just plan itself lol afterawhile everything starts looking the same to me...

You're not alone my friend. Before I got engaged, I was very wedding-minded, always thinking and planning a wedding. But once I got engaged and actually had to START to plan a wedding, I wasn't really that into it as I thought I would be.

I'm a terrible decision-maker and all wedding planning is is making decisions. My desire to plan though ebbs and flows... sometimes I'm go go go, other times I couldn't be bothered.


Don't worry Meg, believe it or not, there are more important things in life than planning a wedding (will I get kicked off of the site for saying that?!)

Yea you definitely shouldn't feel bad. I'm kinda in the same spot right now. I booked all my big vendors because I wanted to get them out of the way and have the peace of mind knowing that we were able to book the people we REALLY wanted working for us that day. But what have I done since then?

A lot of stuff for my sister's shower. . .that's about it.

Sure I have lists of stuff that need to be done but every time I look at them I'm like 'eh I have time. . .no big rush. . .'

I guess in my situation it has a lot to do with me and the rest of my family being pre-occupied doing stuff for my sister's wedding which is in October so my stuff is kinda on the back burner, (which bothers me from time to time) but for right now I'm okay with it!
