had my (1st) shower today !

It was so much fun. My MOH is in California, and my other 2 bridesmaids are also way out of state, so FMIL and FSIL planned the 1st of 3 showers. There were 40 people just from his family/friends.

It was so fun. I cried at the end b/c I couldn't believe how great FH's family is and how sweet they are. As well as family friends, etc. His sister gave me her money bag as my 'borrowed'.

And, in my wishing well she gave me recipe cards and the first card was a cake recipe from their great grandma that is passed down to family members only.

I can't wait for my other 2 showers! (one with friends here in the city and the other with my family where I'm from!)

That is so sweet!! It sounds like you are marrying into a very nice family and it sounds like they are glad to have you!! Congratulations..that is really wonderful. One of three showers..you are so lucky!!
