Had my 30 week appt...

Of course I've gained too much weight, what else is new! But, I do get another ultrasound to see my little boy again in a couple of weeks since he's measuring larger than he's suppose to be. I don't know if that's good or bad. I'm excited because I get to see him again, but I hope he's not too big!

Tell those doctors that you are happy the way you are. I gained 40 lbs with Emma and each week they told me it was too much. I lost 30lbs in 2 weeks after I delivered by not doing anything but taking care of a newborn. Just enjoy your pregnancy.

Don't stress too much about the weight. The only time I worry about it is when I get on the scale in the doctor's office.

Honestly, you shouldn't say that weight means nothing during pregnancy. You should eat well and enjoy yourself but at the same time you can hurt yourself by gaining too much weight. Putting on a lot weight can hurt your chances of a v-birth and make it more difficult to push the baby out- that is what I was told by my midwife at my first visit.
This is from a site about weight and pregnancy:
Too many pounds can lead to discomforts—such as backaches and varicose veins and, possibly, health complications such as high blood pressure.

Again, i am not saying that you gained too much already. I am just saying that their times the doctors do not say things just to make us feel bad.

I am glad that you get to see the baby again!!
