So i had my first breakdown last night. Just going over prices of things and what i want as opposed to what we can afford and i finally broke. Everything is so expensive and there is so much to do for just one day and i just couldnt handle it anymore.... not to mention the stress of trying to find a house ontop of all of this.

It just got to me. I want everything to be perfect and i am all about being different but it is so hard. It is stressfull. there are times where i just feel like throwing in the towel. I think i am just stressing b/c i am just finalizing the last two big vendors (band and florist) Once i am done with those two it should all be ok... i hope!

Wedding stuff is really expensive I can't imagine trying to find and buy a house at the same time. You can do it though! You can FM me if you want

this happens to almost everyone, i say almost b/c i can't speak for everyone, but it happened to me and don't be surprised if it happens a few more times. wedding stress is obnoxoius!

you will be fine. It will work itself out. I know how you feel. It is very stressful. There are wyas to cut back and things to cut out to save money in some areas..... for you

i feel your pain. I havent had a meltdown yet but i feel it coming soon. we dont have any of the big vendors done except for the dj. so needless to say that is stressing in and of itself.

but you are right (i hope) after all the big vendors are done it should calm down a lil bit

I know exactly how you feel! FH & I are going through the same sh!t! It's tough but we will get through it. We too are looking for a place to live and it is sooo stressful! We can only pray and hope for the best!
Just remember you're not alone...don't give up...everything will fall in to place!

You're not alone at all! This past month especially, I've probably had about 15 break downs, it's pretty bad! Not even about wedding stuff, but worrying about everything else going on... school, graduating in a few months... I think i might really lose it soon! And FH is no help, because he's just as stressed!

Hang in there, we'll all be ok!

It's very stressful. I wish i was rich b/c i would probably throw one of those Platinum weddings like on 'WE TV'. But then i think to myself is it really worth all that money for one day...... UH
YES...... LOL, it's the day we have been dreaming about since we were little girls.... Of course don't put your self into debt over this.
NE-way everything will work out, just think of the $$ you'll be getting back the day of!

You are allowed to freak out a little!

This is a very large event that last a few short hours and all we really want is to be able to say it was all 'worth it'.

I am sure you are worth it!

I had my first break down about 2 weeks ago when our travel agent was giving us stress (pre Travel Tom)

LOL I was a mess and heres my poor FH looking like SO CONFUSED....He didnt know what to do...

Finally he just took over with HM, (found Tom) and has been way more active with little things (bills, vendors, etc)

It really is too much sometimes!

omg i totally know what you mean, FH and i are planning a wedding, trying to buy a house, i am in my first year of full time teaching, and i just finished my masters in december (so at least that is ONE part of stress gone for now) it is just waaaay too much, i totally know how you feel, but we will make it!!! where are you looking for a house??? FM me if you want maybe we can talk each other through it!!!

You're not alone....I had a guest list related metldown yesterday...they happen. You will get through it! Just remember that you're marrying your FH and it will all be worth it when you two get to enjoy that wonderful day!

I feel the same way everyday!! I really can't wait for the wedding to be over. And on top of that i'm tried of FH asking me every second of the day When are you getting a second job.

I hear you, b/c financially it all falls on my FH since I am a full time student . Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but what you have to remember is that it's not worth you stressing over it because guess what all that planning and stressing that we're all doing will be over in 5 hours. It's sad to think of it that way. But really it's not worth it. You girls will do just fine. Good luck to all of you.
