had my fitting yesterday... can anyone relate?

So I tried on my gown and everyone around me was like.. 'wow, it fits PERFECT!' but- I found it was a bit tight! It wasn't too tight to wear- I will definitely be able to wear it the way it is but I feel like if I gain one ounce I won't be able to take deep breaths in it!!!!! Did anyone else feel this way? My wedding is in 2 months, I'd rather loose weight than have it taken in

Don't most girls say the stress makes them drop like 5-10 pounds like as the date gets closer? I say do some wild Bridal Bootcamp move like that show 'Buldging Brides' or something. Ha ha!

Seriously though, you can easily drop like 5-8 lbs by your wedding date and you'll feel great and that's like HALF A PANTS SIZE!

Just be dedicated and motivated and think about the honey moon and your dress fitting to your liking!

Thanks! I really do need to step it up. I've been going to the gym twice a week but I'm always so tired after work that even THAT is a struggle!! But I just need to not be a baby about it and get my butt there!! Maybe I'll start a motivation thread lol

Well I am not sure how much you need to lose to feel confident, but I'm actually 150 lbs overweight, Gasp, I know. It has taken me nearly 4 months to just lose 20 and I am at the gym 4-5 times a week doing an hour on the elliptical and a mix of weights, logging in all my food on dailyplate's web site. My problem is that I'm 35. When I was even just 30, the pounds melted off without even any working out - I'd just go on WW for 4 months and drop like 30-40 easily every spring.

Good luck, just stay focused and def. hit the gym more than twice a week - or at least maybe work out longer. Maybe even see a trainer just for a few times. You'll do it!

Thanks for the encouragement! I actually did sign up w/ a trainer and see him twice a week (hence, why I go to the gym twice a week!) I need to be motivated to go there on my own but I work with young children all that by the time 3pm comes around I just wanna plop! I really need to stop making excuses!! I think 5 pounds would make all the difference.

I found I lost my appetite about a few weeks before the wedding - just didn't feel like spurlging because I knew the wedding was so close.

I didn't drop a lot of weight, but I was down about 8 pounds for my day of. I was barely working out either, just not eating as much.

You can do it!

Also, spanx help a lot!!!!!!!!!

Edited to include that I gained it all back - hahahaha - too much eating on the honeymoon! Ull well, I am at my regular size

I'm 36 and I feel your pain. For years I was 120 - 125 pounds. Then I developed a thyroid issue. I'm like 165 now (which is not the end of the world) but I don't feel like myself. And I can't lose the weight the way I did in my younger years

getting older blows
