I had mine also...it was fun! I am positively the ANTI-GIRL when it comes to showers...I HATE them...so I kept telling everyone I felt their pain by watching me open the ENDLESS presents...I could see how much planning my mom put into it, getting every detail down, including her original wedding hankerchief, making a garter from my communion dress lace and haveing her wedding night maribou slippers re-heeled....so funny...she built me an actual trousseau filled with lingerie and honeymoon things....It was so cool....It made me realize how lucky I am with my family, as well as all my friends and relatives...and my MAN-OF-HONOR was a natural!
They have two rooms. Our room has a room max of 240, and we had to guarentee 150 min. I think the other room upstairs is a bit bigger.

Had My Shower Today!
The wedding is May 20, 2000 at Land's End in Sayville. Time is ticking away....my mom took care of a lot of the little details that have been plaguing me for a while...garter, pocketbook, stockings, etc. The favors still have to be done and gifts, gifts, gifts....it'll all get done soon though...how about you?
I know some of you are looking into candle favors. I stumbled upon this site and it looks great. Check it out. Bridesmaid candles, favors, centerpieces, etc. The candles look pretty. Good Luck
I know...too many details....boys gifts are the hardest...my fiancee is a jewelry maker and designer, so the girls are covered....I want to do something for the moms, but the dads are so hard to buy for and I don't want to leave them out...

I've corresponded with her a few times...she's great...what did you do for favors? Where are you getting married?
