Had my work shower yesterday, FH's shower is tomorrow

I had my work shower yesterday and it was so awesome. My boss and another coworker planned it, decorated with pink rose plates, cups, napkins and balloons, and we had some good sweet treats and champagne (for some reason it is standard to have champagne at all of our parties in my imprint)

FH came in for it and it was awesome. We got great gifts. Everyone was so generous.

I just checked one of our registries this afternoon and it seems that FH's coworkers went shopping for us too!!!

I think booze & publishing just go together!
someone told me 'sherry hour ' is common in publishing, so we have taken up a monthly drinking break- for no real occasions. The alcohol varies.
Yesterday it was Sangria.
