ya its before you can go to the class...you have your focus couple, you take a 200 question questioneir and then you have them score it on how you both answered eachother and then how the church wants you to answer it...then you discuss what you got wrong........then you can go to the class

what was it like to discuss it with the other couple? Fh and I don't want to do this..and feel it's none of teir business...we are very private people. We don't discuss our lives with anyone!!! We are worried about those sex quesions they asked...I couldn't believe what they were asking!!!

Oh I see...we took ur test on April 15th..still waiting for the results...but they are already calling us for Pre-cania to go in and do it before we even get the results..but we are having a hard time because FH's schedule is different than mine and he can't take off!!! Just got switched to another midnight sqaud...we are waiting to hear from our decan!!

i got lucky our priest didnt make us take this, but when we went to pre cana we heard other couple talking about it

we did Foccus online, and yes the questions are out there..... but some were good too......
we were asked about violence, homosexuality, drugs, gambling, pornography, internet relationships, family, finances, etc.....
it was really long but good news is FH and I where 98% compatible

OMG I had no idea they make you take a test!! I thought you only had to go to the pre-cana retreat. Ok now I'm really scared that I'll get a low score, FH and I are VERY different.

Its not about getting things right or wrong.
The questions would be like, for example:
FH always has to be right.
agree disagree uncertain
Its not about being right or wrong, its just trying to highlight things you need to talk about before marriage. You can be different and still agree on how you're going to raise your kids, how you handle finances, etc. Its not like a match.com compatability profile Its just making sure you have discussed the things you should have discussed before marriage.

It's not a compatability test so don't you worry!!! FH and I are still waiting to get the results...it's been 4 weeks!!! We'll see...can't do much with his schedule..so we are waiting to see how this can all be worked out..truthfully..we don't want to do this!!

FH and I took pre-cana already and I guess we got lucky b/c we didn't have to take a Focus test. Never even heard of it. Guess it depends on the church.
