HAD SHOWER NEED TO VENT!!

I WAS RIGHT ON THE MONEY! MY SHOWER WAS FRI. NIGHT. IT WAS WONDERFUL!! SO MANY NEW THINGS, BUT NO WHERE TO PUT THEM YET. ONE PROBLEM THOUGH, MY 'BEST FRIEND' AND BM ONLY SATYED FOR 45MIN BC SHE WAS TIRED. CAN YOU BELIVE HER? SHE IS ALWAYS DOING THINGS LIKE THIS BUT I DID NOT EXPECT HER TO DO IT ON MY SHOWER.THIS WAS THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK. I DONT WANT HER TO BE IN MY BRIDAL PARTY ANYMORE AND I REALLY DONT EVEN WANT TO BE FRIENDS ANYMORE! GUESS WHAT ELSE SHE DID...ALL MY BM WERE PASSING FOOD AROUND AND SHE SAT ON HER A$$ AND WHEN MY MOTHER ASKED HER TO PASS THE SHRIMP SHE GAVE HER A DIRTY LOOK!!!!! HELP GIRLS DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. SHE CALLED SAT LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED AND I GAVE HER A PEICE OF MY MIND AND ALL SHE SAID WAS 'SORRY YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME TO STAY, I DIDNT MEAN TO STEP ON YOUR FEET' I SHOULDNT HAVE TO TELL HER TO STAY, RIGHT? HELP! HELP! HELP!

Wow! Sounds like you have a really jealous girl on your hands.....

Has she been acting like this all along or is this a sudden thing?

That is really unfortunate and rude. I can see if she had something to do but tired - c'mon! Is she jealous that you are getting married? What is her situation?

she sounds like such a brat. You defintely should not have to ask her to stay. Are you gonna have to ask her to stay throughout your ceremony too. That is really inconsiderate and rude. if she intends to be this way the entire time then you really don't need her around to bring you down.

SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR, PLEASE IF I WERE TO EXPLAIN THAT SITUATION WE WOULD BE HERE FOR A YEAR READING. SHOULD I KEEP HER IN OR NOT? I WAS JUST PLANNING ON NOT CALLING HER OR RETURNING HER CALLS.

I would be so upset too, but my inclination is to say that since your wedding is just a few months away to keep her. When you cool off a bit, try to tell her how much it hurt that she doesn't value your friendship enough to stay for your one and only bridal shower. Lay the guilt on nice and thick and see if there is any sincere apology or change in behavior.

Maybe don't go off on her but sit down with her and tell her your concerns. Maybe there is something going on in her life that she can not tell you right now and her way of dealing with it is removing herself from the situation. Just a thought..

I WOULD KEEP HER B/C IT IS SO CLOSE TO YOUR WEDDING DATE. AFTER THE WEDDING, I WOULD HAVE AN OPEN AND HONEST CHIT-CHAT WITH HER. SHE SOUNDS LIKE A SPOILED, JEALOUS BRAT.

There is probably a very good chance that she is jealous of you being the bride and right now this is your time. Everything is happening for you and maybe she can not handle it. I would not let it ruin your friendship especially if she is your best friend. When my sister got married one of her bridesmaids who was her very best friend completely stopped talking to my sister, did not return her phone calls, and obviously did not want to be in my sister's bridal party. needless to say my sister never got an answer and never spoke to her again. It was sad to see. You should definitely talk things over.

I have absolutley no sympathy for people like that..shes jealous? get over it!!!!! You should not have told her to stay, it wsa yoru friggin shower. NYCHICK said it best when she said are you going to have to ask her to sty for your ceremony? If you are truly ready to end your friendship with her, Id try and talk to her, see if she is truly getting what you are saying..if you feel like you cant be friends with her, cut her from the wedding..you dont want her in yoru wedding pictures for the rest of your life if you will no longer be friends. A short story..I promis Ill make it quick..a GOOD friend of mine got marrie d afew years ago, her MOH was so jealous and nasty, my friend thought about taking her out of the wedding and they had been friends for a very long time..but she kept her in..so now she is in all of her pictures, they are no longer friends two years later and she wishes she never had her in the wedding to begin with. Just something to think about! Good luck..its a tough decision!!

I would totally tell her how you feel NOW.. and tell her that she needs to make the choice to stay or go, because this is YOUR day-- The last thing you want is for her to ruin it for you!
