i had to return my wedding band today...when i bought it with my fh they told us both it was pllatinum, i don't know why we didn't check, stupid of us...so i brought it home showed my parents and they all loved it...my mom was looking at the paper that came with it and it said 14k whte gold...i was so MAD!! i have a platinum e-ring so i wanted it to match...so now im back to square one...heres the thing...the ring was priced high and with all bills coming in for the wedding now...i feel like i should down size and maybe get a plain platinum band?...does anyone have?...maybe post pics with your e-ring....what do you guys think?..

i too have waited long enough, at 27, im a girl i expect diamonds and nothing less if it was up to me my whole dress would be adorned in diamonds and made by chanel... honestly for a brief moment i actually thought of downsizing...nahhhhhhhhhh

Oh I'm not saying that young people don't deserve diamonds!!!! I just had to find some way of justifying my purchase!
I do think that a wedding band should be a little bit less flashy than an e-ring, though.

I think diamonds and everything is pretty but not worth it if you need that money elsewhere. As long as you can accept that it might not get upgraded for a while, if ever, then it's ok. I think that there is something nice about a plain band...
