I want to have an on location hair stylist and get ready at the hotel. However, I had a couple of trials but still haven't found a hair stylist that I love. Now I am considering going to a hair salon and get it done there and come back to the hotel to meet the makeup artist. I am very concerned about my hair getting messy or ruining my hair while trying to put my veil on. I would want someone it fix it right away!
Is any of you ladies going to a salon having the same concerned? Any advice??

I am having it done at the house because its just for me easier for me...I wouldn't worry about it getting ruined though, they have brides all the time and they make it very secure....I would just be concerned only if it was raining, that would be an extra time outside.

im getting my hair and makeup done at the salon. i'm not worried. plus no one else is allowed to touch my hair except my regular hair girl :)

Try Dusti from Fire Monkey she's awesome and the price is great too. If not then the salon will know how to secure your veil I wouldn't worry.

My sister is a hairdresser at a salon and does make up, so I'm already set with that thank goodness :). She works at Salon Pop in Greenvale.
She'll probably do my hair and make up the day of at my house, but she has done hair and make up at the salons she has worked at before. My sister says that everything holds in place and that it is very, very unlikely your hair will fall out, especially with all the hair spray they use.

I have no problems getting my hair done at the salon and think you will be fine provided you give yourself ample time. I was originally going to go to a salon but FH was adamantly against it so I am having my hair done at the hotel.
