Hair and M-up trial! I need your help! (w/pics)

My mother bought me a gorgeous headpiece that goes great with my dress!

The first hair style I did goes with the head piece, but the second one doesn't. The second one looks better because I have my make up done with this one.

Just on hair alone, which style do you think looks better on me? My mother will be upset if I dont wear the headpiece but Im thinking the second one will look better without it,maybe just a side flower pin?

I felt too 'sweet sixteen' with the headpiece but, its $$ and it is gorgeous ..eeek

I need your help ladies!

Oh and BTW, what do you think about the make up? Like? try again?

love the makeup...

it's your call with the headpiece. I'm personally not into headpieces so I love the 2nd but that's jmo. You look beautiful in both.

I think they both look great but I am leaning towards the second pic. You can't go wrong with either.

we tried it and I just wasnt happy. once she took the hp off, i LOVED IT! and she said, ' its not the hair that is making you feel sweet 16 like, its the head piece, and she was right!'

I just wish I realized this before my mom bought it for me

Im thinking no hp but not mentioning anything to my mom, ill give her the $ for it and hopefully the day of the wedding she wont feel like fighting with me

Love the Makeup and the Hair!! I think I like it without the head piece though....I think the idea with the hairpin on the side would look amazing!!! I'm sure your mom will understand....Maybe you could sell it or return it??

I agree with Renee here , I am not a fan of the head piece and I think the second looks looks stunning!

They made it especially for me, it took about 4 months. Think I can return it????

Yea I ordered a side flower crystal hair piece last night for the second one. .

The HP is gorgeous but on me it felt more like a tiara, which im not a fan of

Ok, don't mean to sound like a b*tch, but you're wearing the headpiece like a headband. Try putting it back on the head more... laying flat and seeing if you like it. Make-up looks really nice. Don't give up... keep trying until you're 100% happy!

No b*tchiness at all I actually like that idea! I realized after I could have asked for it to be more back. That was also giving me the Sweet 16 vibe!

O.K. I called Macy's (Demetrios in Smithhaven Mall)

They totally understood and were so great! Since it was made customed for me, they cant let me return it but I can exchange for something else, So, Im going to see if they have a pin instead I think!

What if you wore the headpiece for the ceremony and then took it off for the reception?

I like them both. I was thinking the same thing as ynksfan167. Think about it, you can be a princess at the ceremony and then more comfortable at the reception and your mom will get plenty of photos with you in the headpiece.

And I really like your make up, it looks really good.

Oh, I love them at Demetrios in Smithhaven Mall, I ended up getting a small headpiece since I didn't know how I was going to wear my hear. They are so helpful over there.
