Okay ladies so I called to make hair and make-up apt today and I think the prices they gave me are a little in the crazy range! For airbrush make-up it will cost $250 for the day and $60 for trial. For hair it will cost $200 for the day and $50 for trial. $75 for all other girls and $30 for little girls. Is it just me or is this pricy? If you don't mind me asking how much is are did everyone else pay?

Yes I personally think that is crazy!! I may not be much help because my mom is doing my hair and I will be doing my own make up, but hopfully some other brides on this site may be able to help you with that one. I do think you should go else where tho.

I haven't booked anyone officially yet. I called a few make-up artists and hairdressers the rates were cheaper than what you were quoted. There are a few listed as LIW vendors. HTH

I know that they can be pretty pricey but 75 for trial and 250 the day of? What will there be gold in the real make up the day of? Thats more then 3x your trial! I cant help at all with hair b/c my aunt will be doing it

I am definitely not paying that much, although i did get a few quotes around that price. I am paying $50 for the trial and $100 day of for both.

I can only give you my price quotes on makeup b/c my gf is my hairdresser.
As far as airbursh makeup the day of, she charges $250 to get it done at the salon, it is $125. My airbrush trial was $75.
For the bm's to get it done at my house the day of, traditional, it is $100.
In my opinion, if she does excellent work, she is probably worth every penny. My gf who is a makeup artist tells me that really good makeup artists charge a lot of money (in the few hundreds).

It is a bit pricey. However, some people do not mind paying that kind of money if their work is excellent.
I'm on a budget so I cannot afford to pay that much.
I've seen those kinds of quotes, but I've seen lower. Keep looking.....

that is a bit pticey, it doesnt seem that any of them are negoitable either.. my makeup is going to be 125 for the day and my trial was 65..its a lot and i am still debating it.. but if it lasts all day its well worth it.. since my day to day makeup lst about 10 minutes and its off my face.. LOL

I think that is rather pricey. I am paying $50 for trial and $100 for day of. If my BP gets theirs done, my trial is free.
