Hair and make-up for $200 or less including trials...is this possible?

I am having a horrible time finding hair and make-up within my budget. Besides Jenn and Oksana (already booked) is there anyone out there than can do hair and make-up for $200 or less INCLUDING the trials? I can't afford to spend anything over that...can anyone please help? FM is A-OK! Thanks!

Honestly I am not sure you can get that unless you go to a salon that does both but if you FM SFP0214 I think her place was pretty reasonable and I think might have cost less than that and the salon is in east meadow but I am not sure where you live and if that is close. Otherwise you might also try the counters at mac/clinque/lancome etc. I know that if you get makeup done at mac you have to buy 3 things and thier pencils & lipstick aren't too expensive that you can get it for $35 or so. Just a thought.

That's ridiculous...I am so tired of the whole wedding thing and overcharging - weddings suck! OK, vent over.

I could be wrong but unfortunately I was quoted $220 for makeup alone--I didn't go w/ them but I was just looking on teh website of the makeup person I booked and she is $120 for makeup & $30 for trial if you do traitional makeup--I know that she is really good friends with Denise Venti who I think is a vendor on this site & she is the hairdresser at the hosfstra salon you might want to check the two of them out. Just another option--I dont' know if it would be in your budget or not. Another thing is I am getting my hair done at a salon it is costing me $95 day of & $65 trial and having my makeup done at my house so you might want to split it up like that. Sorry

Ok ladies,

I have the secret for cheap BEAUTIFUL updo's..she is my hairstylist and her name is Lori Miller. She used to work in my hair salon but they closed so she opened up her own freelance business and she is WONDERFUL!! She did my best friend's trial updo for FREE (my best friend just tipped her) and the 'day of' hair was $50 or $60 (cant remember exactly)...but either way she is CHEAP in comparison to others.

Also my best friend used a woman named Gina who she met when she went for a trial at the Clinique counter in the Smith Haven Mall. She ended up doing freelance make-up as well and she charge $75 for BM's makeup and $100 for bride. she was awesome too!!! I know that we had to buy some of the makeup from the clinique counter that she used, but you can use whatever makeup you want to use.

I have a VERY resonable makeup person. Her name is Nicole Tenga. FM for info. She has done other weddings on this board so just do a search for her. I can't help with hair. I had to fire the girl who did my first trial due to a horrible review and now have to pay for the second trial plus 125 for the day of for hair- grrrrr....My total comes to 300 IF this second trial works out.

She will come to your house when necessary but she prefers if you go to her...just cause she has all of her materials at her private salon type set up. BUT she will go to you if you absolutely need her..I believe. She is wonderful!

Good thing this got bumped...thanks ladies for replying...I knew it could be done!

OK, so mv1003 came to my rescue again (because Michelle just rocks) and I found hair and make-up for a little over $200 and they'll come to me...trials aret omorrow, so I'll try to post pics if I can.
