hair and make up trial with pictures!
Hi my friend just did her hair and makeup trial and she just booked Jennifer Ziegelmeier, Hair Artisty & Co and Pamela Sue Makeup. She wrote a little review.Edited because pictures were not working.
Trial Review for Jennifer Ziegelmeier, Hair Artisty & Co.
Last weekend, I had my hair trial with Jennifer from Hair Artistry & Co. We met the morning of my Engagement Party and she was just as excited to work as I was! The first thing that I noticed about Jennifer was how quick she is with her hands. I swear if there was a speed contest for updo's, Jennifer would be the reigning champion. She created my first look in no less than 15 minutes! I was really impressed, because she did not need to use a curling iron at all for my updo:
I didn't want her to take it out, but she did have to show me two more looks. The 2nd look was more romantic with more of my hair down and this time she did have to give me some curl. My hair is very stubborn, thick, and silky, but somehow Jennifer managed to conquer it, achieving this look:

The last look was a half-up/half-down look, with my SIL's flower:
Decisions, decisions. I love all three looks! And for proof that her work holds up, I took a picture of myself at 10am, and then another one 12 hours later:
I wish Jennifer could do my hair every day :) Needless to say, I have booked her for my wedding day!
If you're in the market for a hair stylist for your big day, I highly recommend Jennifer! The pictures speak for themselves, but the experience speaks even louder than words!
Trial Review for Pamela Sue Makeup
I was put in touch with Pamela Sue by Jennifer from Hair Artistry & Co, whom I had also booked for my hair trial. Both ladies worked on me the morning of my Engagement Party, so that I got the most 'use' out of my look, according to my MOH :)
We got along right away, and while Pamela worked on me, I learned a lot about her background. Before becoming a freelance makeup artist, she used to work for a one-stop-shop wedding services boutique in Queens, so she was very familiar with working on Asian faces. I know you might be thinking, 'but is she going to make me look pale, conversative, and dated?' The answer is 'heck no!' Pamela was amazing. I showed her a few pictures from my Pinterest of the type of look that I was going for; not too over-the-top and more on the natural side, but highlighting my eyes. I received lashes and airbrushing, both of which I've never done before. She did a great job, and the make up held up all day! I took a picture of myself at 10am, and then again at 10pm, with little difference!
Everyone at our engagement party was thrilled with the look. I was happy to book her for my wedding day almost immediately the following weekday!
If you're looking for a make up artist, reach out to Pamela and let her know that Jenny sent ya!
